Engineered for Quieter Performance

Friedrich’s ‘Free Floating’ chassis design and superior insulation help to eliminate vibration noise. The chassis slides into the wall plenum and a gasket firmly seals the chassis to the patented telescoping plenum. This eliminates vibration noises that are transmitted into the room in competitors’ metal-on-metal fixed installations.

Improved Guest Comfort

Each unit is individually controlled, allowing guests to choose one of two fan speeds with auto or constant fan mode on the Friedrich RT7, RT7P, WRT2, and EM(W)RT2 thermostats. Vert-I-Pak Heat Pump models include back-up auxiliary electric heat.

Installation

Vert-I-Paks are designed for installation from any interior side (front, right or left). Units ship ready to install with only electrical and plumbing hook-ups needed. Installation does not require an HVAC technician.
